The Wildlife Photography Tour will be a small group of 4/5 persons. The Kalahari / Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is located north of South Africa, bordering Namibia and Botswana. This National Park was officially established in the year 2000. South Africa’s Kalahari Gemsbok National Park merged with Botswana’s Gemsbok National Park. The magic of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is magnificent. It consists mainly of red dunes as well as unique desert-adapted animals make this a truly magical place. It is well-known among wildlife and landscape photography enthusiasts.

Thanks to the waterholes along two riverbeds, wild animals come and go. The wildlife makes their way down from the corrugated dunes to the river canyon. Of course, they are in need to quench their thirst. This is big cat territory. These two dry riverbeds act as the best corridor for the black mane Kalahari lions and are the best places to see them on the hunt for their prey.

This unique Kalahari park offers you amazing highlights

The park is famous for its high concentration of predators, from big cats to small cats. Here you will find the rare African wildcat, the athletic caracal, the elusive leopard, and the fastest cat of all, the cheetah. But, undoubtedly, the most famous predator is the impressive Kalahari black-maned lion. In the Kalahari, you will have the best opportunities to photograph these majestic lions in this unique environment. Spotting the Kalahari leopard is always a highlight. This elusive cat is the prince of this arid land. Sightings of cheetahs are common, the Kalahari is one of the best places to see them hunting their prey. The Kalahari is also the land of all desert creatures, from the graceful oryx antelopes, dainty springboks to the funny meerkats and many species of raptors.

A visit at the end of the photo tour will be at the meerkat sanctuary. I am sure everybody will love to capture cute meerkat pictures.
