Join Landscape & Nature Photographer Johan Peijnenburg and Wildlife & Landscape Photographer Anette Mossbacher on this Arctic adventure. Departure is September 2016; 24 Sept. – 02 Oct. The Greenland Nature and Landscape Photography Tour/Workshop will be based on the west coast at Ilulissat Icefjord.
This UNESCO World Heritage site is 250km north of the Arctic Circle. Undoubtedly, one of the Photographic highlights is Jakobshavn Glacier; it is one of the few glaciers, which reaches the sea. Indeed, it annually calves over 35km3 of ice. The combination of this tremendous ice-sheet. As well as the dramatic sounds of a fast-moving glacial ice-stream calving into a fjord. These unique icebergs make for an exciting and awe-inspiring phenomenon.
Furthermore, Greenland’s unpolluted air and clear night skies make ideal opportunities for night photography. Witness and photograph the impressive Aurora Borealis. Ilulissat Icefjord and Disko Island Photo Tour 2016 Information.
