furthermore, three Honorable Mentions as well.

Indeed, I am pleased to announce that my black and white polar bear photograph “At The Edge” has won second place in the International photography awards contest. As well as two honorable mentions I have received. One in landscape photography and one more in the wildlife photography category. Indeed, the IPA invites professional and non-professional photographers to participate in the annual international photography awards contest. Every year from around the globe, professional and non-professional photographers compete for the title ‘International Photographer of the Year.’ The IPA is a sister-effort of the Lucie Foundation as well as considered to be one of the most ‘wanted’ titles for photographers. Furthermore, the mission of Lucie’s Foundation is to discover new and emerging talents. Also, to honor the world’s master photographers as well to promote the appreciation of photography.

This year I have submitted photographs from my landscape and wildlife photography to the IPA awards 2014. Three of my nature photos were chosen in honorable mentions. My black and white Polar bear photograph made second place in the wildlife category.

At The Edge – Polar bear photograph in black and white. The animal is standing at the edge of a large rock looking over the Arctic ocean.
