A tiny African elephant calf is between two elephants as a silhouette. The pink and orange colors of the sunset behind the elephant calf, which is between two elephants, creates a peaceful wildlife sunset photograph that Africa is so famous for. African elephants can drink up to 189 liters / 50 gallons of water a day. Subsequently, you will often find them nearby waterholes and rivers. We photographed that scene in the beautiful environment of the Etosha National Park in Namibia.

The sweet tiny calf between the two elephants is a beautiful example of their protective behavior of their family. A herd of African elephants demonstrates impressive teamwork. As a result, they find resources, protect against predators, and care for their offspring. A calf between the elephants illustrates how the young will never stray too far from their mothers. Elephants are socially complex creatures. Henceforth, they are lead by a matriarch. The matriarch is often the oldest and largest member of the herd. Undoubtedly, as she is the oldest of the herd, she is most likely the wisest. As a result, others rely on her to make tough decisions in times of hardship. Undoubtedly, the calf between elephants signifies their close family bond.

African elephants, Loxodonta africana, are in category vulnerable in the IUCN list.
