Southern Africa

A beautiful Baobab tree is standing between the waterfalls in this fine art landscape photograph. The last sun rays of the day shine into the valley. In front and behind the tree winds the water smoothly down into the gorge.

Thanks for sharing!

The last rays of sunshine of the day illuminate the Baobab tree standing between the smooth waterfalls. The water in the waterfalls appears soft due to the extended exposure of the fine art photograph. Amazingly, the Tree Of Life grows on this small rocky outcrop in the middle of the strong water currents.

The water plunges nearly 120 meters / 393 feet deep into the valley. This compelling fine art photo shows the strong Baobab tree standing tall and proud between the smooth waterfalls. Further down the stream of the Kunene River, you will find the Epupa falls at the border of Namibia to Angola.

Africa’s waterfalls are not only visually stunning, but also offer a unique and powerful representation of the continent’s natural beauty and diversity.

Tree Of Life – Baobab Tree Stands Between Waterfalls

Above, the photograph of the waterfalls with the famous ancient Baobab tree represents 3 essentials of life to me: light, water, and air/oxygen. Many living beings on earth depend on water, sunlight, and air, including us humans.

Air/Oxygen:

Who produces air/oxygen? On earth, trees and plants produce an essential part of life, oxygen. Without trees and plants, there would be no oxygen and most likely no life.

Water:

What is water? It is the most critical foundation of life. All living beings require water to survive. Simply said – water gives life, and this Baobab tree, and the plants around it, need water to grow to produce oxygen and food.

Sunlight:

Who needs sunlight? Every living being on the planet needs the light of the sun. Without it, the earth would be a frozen place. To come back to this Baobab tree and plants. They need sunlight and water to grow, survive, and produce oxygen on top to produce food.

When you zoom in on the Baobab tree, you will see fruit hanging from a branch on the right-hand side. This tree undoubtedly provides as well food for living beings.

These 3 elements create a circle of life. They are all connected with each other. Every living being on earth depends on these essentials. Sadly we humans take this for granted.
