In the morning, the sun’s first light is illuminating the 4 Acacia trees standing on the white clay pan in Sossusvlei in Namibia. These first rays create a fantastic contrast between the trees and dunes. As shown above, a beautiful path of sunlight flows along the 4 trees and Deadvlei clay pan.
Black And White Sossusvlei
One of the most famous spots in Namibia is Sossusvlei with its ghost trees. Many travelers want to see the orange / red sand dunes and white clay pans. The most known pan is Deadvlei, with the many Acacia trees scattered on it. As these trees are more than 900 years old, surrounded by orange glowing dunes makes this landscape unique. Indeed, it is worth a visit to see yourself.
Undoubtedly, many landscape photographers want to go to Sossusvlei in Namibia to capture a unique photo of the dead trees. Of course, also of the surrounding desert and dunes. As you see, Sossusvlei is an amazing place and offers a significant amount of contrast amongst the dunes and claypan in black and white.
