The charming beach huts in Muizenberg are a beautiful spot, which the locals and tourists love. They come in many colors, yellow, green, blue, and red. They are standing a row along the white beach in False Bay. In this travel photograph, the beach huts stretch from left to right. Furthermore, a mother is playing with her daughter, a game with a ball in front of the houses. Behind the last few houses is the beginning of a mountain. Alongside the hill is a few white clouds contrasting against the otherwise uninterrupted blue sky.
We have several names for these charming beach huts. The noblest name is ‘beach house,’ besides the name ‘bathing box’ and ‘beach box.’
At the Muizenberg beach are two separate rows of beach huts. One row is opposite the children’s play area and the other beside the Putt-Putt course and walkway. As that beach it is about 20km / 12mi long, there is no limit with space. That beach we know is worldwide famous for its consistent waves to surf — an ideal place to learn surfing all year round. The colorful huts are an iconic part of the Cape of Good hope landscape and, of course, a part of Muizenberg’s heritage. In other words, the attraction for locals and the tourists who come to see the charming beach huts. Furthermore, you will see also selfies by locals and tourists all over social media. Many will visit as well the African penguins on the beach.
