This magnificent iceberg in a unique shape contrasts well against the dark blue, cloudy sky. It has rugged sharp points within its unique shape, yet it still looks enchantingly beautiful. Every iceberg comes with its unique shape, also tiny or enormous, and indeed it has its own character.

The reason why such heavy chunks of ice can float in water is because of the fact that they have a lower density than seawater. Therefore, it will stay on the surface until it melts. Incredibly, a few large and old icebergs are used as locations for drifting research stations where brave scientists do their work. There are even projects coming about that make use of icebergs in order to supply clean water to the arid regions of the world.

An international ice patrol was created after the tragedy of the Titanic. It watches the movement of icebergs and notifies ships of possible danger. The service is funded by 17 countries. Since this formation of the ice patrol, not a single human has died from a collision with an iceberg.

Undoubtedly, every iceberg comes in all sizes and has a unique shape. Sometimes Mother Nature will design an incredibly bizarre shape, as seen in this photograph. However, it only makes us marvel at its beauty even more. They pose a great danger to ships and other boats. Due to the fact that only 10% of the iceberg is visible above the surface of the water.
