The Zambezi River rapids flow at a fast speed of motion, foam crowns rolling across the river surface, reflecting the warm, beautiful golden African sunset light. A slow shutter speed gives this panoramic photo a smooth sense of movement. Nature photography in an abstract and minimalistic way.
Golden Light &Â Zambezi Rapids In Motion
Where can you find these rapids? The rapids and waterfalls are indeed a spectacular sight to see. I highly recommend them if you ever have the chance to travel to Victoria Falls. I took this photo some 100 meters / 100 yards before the torrents tumble down the cliffs into the deep gorge of Victoria Falls.
Along the Zambia side of the Zambezi River, you will find a few places you can go to the river bank. You will also find them on the Zimbabwe side, along the river, and inside the National Park. Sometimes you will see fishermen standing in the water fishing with small nets or bare hands! Yes, they catch fish with their hands.
More of my African panoramic photo prints you can browse in the African landscape gallery. All my nature photography you can license or purchase art photo prints. This African landscape abstract photo of the Zambezi River with the reflection of the Golden Light looks fantastic on an acrylic or metal print. The acrylic photo prints give a beautiful depth to landscape pictures, as well as to elephant photo prints.
Read about the hidden secrets of Feng Shui in landscape photographs. It is pretty interesting.

Amazing panoramic photo Anette. I love the colours how they „paint“ the water surface.

What a African sunset can do! Many thanks, Stefan. 😀
