In the distance stands a solitary zebra, which is surrounded by a glowing dust cloud. In that dry riverbed, many branches protrude from the ground. The zebra is a silhouette against the light and vibrant orange backdrop. The African sunset creates a beautiful warm scene of a solitary zebra. Yet, still incredibly beautiful and dreamy. An accurate depiction of the dynamic colors of the famous African sunset.

Zebra Surrounded By A Dust Cloud

Unfortunately, zebras are slowly losing their habitat. The main reason is because of the spread of agricultural activities. Humans hunt them for their skin and so that domestic livestock can graze in larger spaces. Zebras will be lost to African ecotourism if these activities do not stop. Another major problem is that predator numbers also depend on the availability of prey.

Therefore without zebras, the predators will deplete as well. That would have a significant impact on tourism in Africa. The ‘Zebra Surrounded By Dust Cloud’ definitely shows how beautiful Africa can be and the value of tourism in many countries.

Not only are they an essential part of African wildlife, which generates much income for the countries, but they also play a significant factor in maintaining the growth of grass. Since the animals are grazers, they control the green and stop it from getting out of hand. Lions and spotted hyenas mainly hunt the adult zebras. However, cheetahs and leopards also tend to capture the young zebra foals.

Love the composition of this image! The depth shown through the different layers of colors is beautiful. The zebra disappearing in the background makes the image. Great picture!
