Two Zebras are close together in this black and white photo print of their mane and coat. You can see the hair of the mane and fur beautifully displayed. Every zebra has a unique pattern of its black and white stripes. It is like our fingerprints.
Due to the zebra’s brilliant black and white striped coat, these animals make beautiful black and white animal photo prints. Additionally, the stripes of their coat and manes create a beautiful contrast.
Black & White Zebra Manes Fine Art Photograph
On a safari drive through the Etosha National Park, I came across a large zebra herd grazing peacefully beside the gravel road. It is always a bliss to stop and watch these African animals. While grazing, the herd made its way closer and closer to my vehicle.
After a little while, they surrounded my vehicle. They were peacefully feeding on the lush grass of the open African Savannah. Of course, there is always an interaction between the zebras. They socialize intensely with each other, especially with their friends. Yes, zebras have friendships, as we humans do.
The Burchell Zebra Latin name is Equus quagga. According to National Geographic, it is in the category of near threatened.

Very beautiful photo that stands out to me for the strong composition that accentuates and puts in contrast lines (zebra stripes) and curves (contours of their mane and bodies). I also like the inclusion of light on the zebra’s body towards the left bottom corner – the line between light and shadow in this spot beautifully completes curve of that zebra’s mane, making that curve run all the way to the edge of the frame whilst the light triangle also creates a transition and separation from the zebra in the background.

Oh wow Martina, you wrote a lot. All is spot on what you write about the zebra photo. Thanks so much.
