Genet

Portfolio of Genet photographs. This portfolio includes photos of genets, Genetta genetta, in their natural habitats. Genets are small catlike carnivores living in Europe and Africa. These animals have retractable claws that can retract into their paws. However, the claws help them to climb trees. At night this animal gets active to look for sleeping birds, insects, and small mammals to eat. Like many African animals, they are most active during dawn and dusk. During the daytime, they are hiding in holes of trees or little caves. Overall, a genet is a solitary and territorial animal. The natural enemies of genets in Africa are humans, leopards, owls, and pythons. You can purchase a photo print of the Genet photographs. If you need to buy a stock photo license, on my FAQ page you find the information how to do.
