The motion blur of the Arctic sunset gives the photograph a soft, smooth feeling. Long exposure photography we use to create a silky element to a scene. It will turn water into a flat smooth surface, but it can also help remove people from a scene. Any moving element will disappear when using an extended exposure or shutter speed.
The Arctic Circle got its name from the imaginary circle at the top of the globe. That it is the most Northern part of our planet. The Arctic Ocean consists of Russia, the USA, Finland, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Greenland, and parts of Canada. Because of the Earth’s tilt, for at least one day a year, there is one entire day of darkness — and also a full day of sunshine. Imagine that! The indigenous people of the Arctic, we call the ‘Inuits.’ Incredibly, they have found a way to adapt and thrive in one of the harshest environments in the world. However, they do get the pleasure of seeing the beautiful Arctic sunset.
We all know the famous polar bear that calls this region their home. However, there are an exciting species the Narwhal. Because they have a long tusk projecting from their noses, we gave them the nickname “unicorn of the sea.” Their tusks can grow up to 3 meters long.
