Browse our beautiful Ostrich photographs, the most giant and flightless bird on earth. There exist two species, the common and Somali Ostrich. They are members of the ratites. Indeed, they cannot fly but have long legs. Therefore, they can run up to 70 km/h / 45 mi/h per. We find these giant birds mainly roaming in African savannahs – the ranges of open arid and semi-arid areas in West, East, and Southern Africa. An adult male bird can have a height of 2.75 meters / 9 feet tall and weigh about 150 kilograms / 330 pounds.
Anette captures these beautiful Ostrich photographs in the savannahs of Southern Africa. In our nature photography portfolios, you can license photos and purchase them as fine art photography prints.
